“If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.” ~Charles Bukowski
“In 2006, the state of Colorado officially became the largest beer producing state in the country, according to newly released data from the Beer Institute. The Colorado brewing industry produced over 23.3 million barrels or 724.5 million gallons of beer. This makes the state tops in production.”
Colorado is a beer lover’s dream. Within just 3 miles of my home, there are approximately 20 breweries (with more on the way!), at least 5 craft beer bars, and much more. And since craft beer is my full-time hobby: drinking it, talking about it, cooking with it, learning about it…I figure I might as well write about it and hope you enjoy reading it. I am not a Cicerone or an expert on all things beer; I am an enthusiast who likes to spread the good word and news about craft breweries, beer festivals and events in Colorado.
