The Fifth Annual Chef and Brew Festival is Thur., Nov. 17, 2016, from 7-10 pm (6 pm for VIP) at Exdo Event Center (1339 35th Street, Denver). Tickets are $49 for General Admission and $69 for VIP.  VIP ticket holders gain early entry and a Belgian style glass.

At Chef and Brew, you’ll be able to sample of all of the dishes and all the beer and vote for your favorite. Judges will select three awards: Best Dish, Best Beer, and Best Pairing, while the Grand Prize – Best in Show – will be selected by festival attendees. A portion of the evening’s sales will be donated to Project Angel Heart.

Here is a sneak peek at one of the dishes at this year’s festival. This pairing is from Brewed Food and Spanglang Brewery:

Tender Belly Pork Bulgogi / mix-culture beachu kimchi, fermented blueberry sriracha, paired with Bon Voyage Barrel-Aged Brett Tripel (a blend of a young Tripel and a Tripel aged in French red wine barrels with Brettanomyces. The resulting beer is dry and slightly tart with a delicate earthy funk from the Brettanomyces and floral esters from the blend of Belgian yeast used during fermentation).

Tempted yet?! This is just one of many unique pairings you’ll find at Chef and Brew. Which other chefs and breweries will be there?

I got my tickets as soon as I noticed they were on sale. A few days later you guys offered a 10 dollar discount for VIP tickets. Is there a way for me to upgrade my regular tickets to VIP’s?

    1. Hi John. I am not affiliated with the Chef and Brew festival (I’m just an attendee and I help spread the word about it), so unfortunately I am not able to help you with your request. I would suggest contacting Chef and Brew directly. At this time I don’t have any specific contact info, but I’m trying to see if I can get it for you. Thank you!

    2. Update: I was able to reach out to someone at Chef & Brew. I gave him your email address, so he should be getting in touch with you soon. Thanks!
